熱海にあるMOA美術館のエントランスから、エスカレーターで本館に向かう途中にある「円形ホール」の約20mの直径の天井に投影されている万華鏡に添える音楽として音源をCD化した商品です。
万華鏡は二度と同じ画像が現れないと言われています。色、スピード、形、全てが異なる視覚に音楽が見事にマッチしています。
録音は実際に投影される万華鏡下で行い、その場で即興演奏した楽曲も2曲収録されています。
録音時に撮影した写真もふんだんに使われており、万華鏡の「一期一会」の中の「一瞬」を眺めながら楽しめるCDです。
